Robin Coaster: a cork-backed coaster with an illustration of a robin redbreast

This is a coaster of a British garden bird: the robin.. The illustration and design is all my own, but I have used a giftware company to manufacture them to a high standard.
The illustration is a hand-drawn mono print in wax crayon which I scanned into my computer and coloured digitally.

The heat-resistant coaster is manufactured from full colour satin finish printed melamine with a hardboard base. The reverse side is covered with an attractive and durable cork backing.
It are heat resistant to 145ºC as well as being scratch and stain resistant.

It is are 97mm x 97mm.
