My Lovely Postcards exhibition

charity auction for Beth’s Bursary Fund.

‘My Lovely Postcards’ is an exhibition and auction of postcards in aid of Sobell House Hospice/Beth’s Bursary Fund, which supports nurses to receive further training and education in palliative care.

In March 2023, my friend Jill told me about this, I managed to make three artworks and sent them off just in time to meet the deadline. I am so glad I did, and on 18th May I went to the launch event at the SJE church on Iffley Road.

I am glad to say that my artworks raised some money for this great cause, all three had bids on them. Voting is now closed, but you may be able to view the artworks submitted via the link below. There were about 450 artworks to chose from.

I enjoyed trying out some artworks using gold wallpaper samples, painted with acrylic paint. I first tired this in lockdown and wanted to have another go at it. I am glad to say that all three have had a bid so have raised money for this worthy cause.
